Exposing a weak player

You will never get a true answer asking for the reasons of your failures and lack of success by poker. Everybody has at least once time experienced the bad beat knows it pretty well. However, there is one thing, which seems to be a trivial one, but in reality, it is crucial to our stack.

This rule says that to win you have to be better than your opponents are. It may sound funny, but in reality, there are many factors, which decide, who will finally win a game. These factors are not only important in a particulate route but they influence your result. So, what to do to be better than the others are? The easiest way to do so is to expose a weak player and make his chips being yours. I have already mentioned that you do not need more than couple of hours do to learn playing well 5cd poker.

For this reason, it is even more rarely that still you meet in the game many people without any knowledge or experience in 5cd poker. You can easily expose this kind of player by their faking. If you know that somebody is faking and he is not doing well, you should raise and force the weaker player to pay a lot for the possibility of changing his cards. You have to take into account the possibility that you can be beaten when your opponents get better cards after a change than they had had before. However, you should not worry because after a while you will get much more than you have just lost.

The second mistake, which is characteristic for weak players, is matching the cards to strit or colour. As long as it is possible to play this way in PotLimit game, it is out of question in limited games. Choosing the strategy you are going to loose all the money you have. It is also important to consider your own position in each deal. If you are placed on the BB position or the next after BB, you have to remember that the players sitting behind you will make their decision after you make yours.

At that moment you do not have the vaguest idea what cards they may have and what are they planning to do with them. In this case, you have to use your intuition. If you do not have sufficiently strong cards I would not recommend to take a risk.
