Many people claim, that the
PotLimit poker is not easy. However, I think that this type of poker is
very simple. The truth is that you can learn it in 10 minutes.
Moreover, if you want to be a good player one week is enough to learn.
I am not suggesting that this game does not require intelligence,
rather which this game is for everybody. Dobierany jest także
zdecydowanie mniej „losowy” od gier typu flop, takich jak texas. Dla
pokerowych „kamikaze” jest to z pewnością nieodpowiednie zajęcie. W
sytuacji uprzywilejowanej są raczej gracze typu tight.

characteristic of 5card draw is the speed of the game. I do not mean
the players, who protract the game on purpose in order to irritate the
opponents and win. By the way, when talking about poker online you can
compare this kind of behaviour with so-called trash talking in a live
game. Coming back to the speed of that game... This game is more
energetic than other games of type flop. The dealing is takes much
shorter and you can notice more activities by the table. For the
online-players, it is a great advantage, because they can fast get
additional vouchers. It is really worth to play!
I will not say
anything new, if I mention that the skill that lies in observation of
the opponents is the most important one for a good poker player. In
five cards draw poker this characteristic is desired for many different
reasons. Why? You know that on the cards you will get from a dealer
depends your chance for winning. In the moment, you get the cards you
make a choice what to do next, even if you do not know the cards’
combination of your opponents. I will write more about some special
strategies of observation in next articles. Now, I just wanted to
direct your attention on the importance of this topic.
Of
course, it can happen that suddenly you get the idea how to win and
from nothing, you will do some magic and get the poker. However, I
would not advice to base on your sixth mind. I am rather a supporter
of different statistics, although I can understand the influence of the
emotions in the whole decision making process.
